Clinical Supervision and Consultation

Supervision From Someone Who Gets it

After more than 23 years in mental health, addictions and psychotherapy, I still consider it a privilege to give back to a profession I genuinely love.

Having worked as a therapist, educator and supervisor, I understand the messy duality of being both a human and a therapist. We don't always have it figured out either.

I offer clinical supervision and consultation to therapists across Ontario, at all stages of their careers.

I'll Challenge You. I'll Cheer You On.

My supervision style is direct, collaborative and conversational. I'll ask the uncomfy questions, challenge your thinking when needed and help you see things from a different perspective. I'll also recognize your strengths and encourage you to trust your clinical judgment.

We can tackle complex cases, ethical dilemmas, therapeutic relationships and the realities of private practice.

I offer individual and group supervision, as well as clinical consultation, depending on your professional needs.

Let's See If We're a Good Fit

The relationship you have with your supervisor matters. You want someone you can be yourself with, ask the awkward questions and talk openly about the things that aren't going quite as planned.

And sometimes, you just need another therapist to bounce ideas around with. Someone who gets it.

Finding the right fit goes both ways, so let's start with a conversation, get to know each other a little and see if working together makes sense!

Hammond Psychotherapy is located on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and the Huron-Wendat peoples. Land acknowledgments are to recognize the longer history, one predating the establishment of colonialism. It is just a small part of reconciliation and a way to honour and respect Indigenous nations' continued care, practices, and stewardship of the land where people from many backgrounds now reside.
